Donald Trump has announced plans to declassify U.S. government files on UFOs and extraterrestrial life, signaling a potential step toward greater transparency and possible future contact.

In a moment of intense media and political attention, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced his intention to order the Pentagon and other federal agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing all government files related to alien life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The announcement follows viral statements by former President Barack Obama, who said in an interview: “Aliens exist, but I’ve never seen them,” emphasizing that the vastness of the universe makes the existence of extraterrestrial life statistically inevitable.
 
The Raelian Movement welcomes this renewed push for transparency, which confirms what it has maintained for decades: the existence of advanced civilizations beyond Earth is not a conspiracy theory, but an overwhelming scientific probability, given the presence of billions of galaxies and trillions of potentially habitable planets. According to the Raelian message, human beings are not alone in the universe, and official contact with an extraterrestrial civilization is not only possible, but inevitable—thanks to those who created us, the Elohim.
 
To prepare for this historic event, the Raelian Movement has been working tirelessly since 1973 through conferences and diplomatic initiatives on the Embassy for Extraterrestrials project— the first structure in the world intended to host an extraterrestrial diplomatic delegation on Earth. The project, also promoted through the Alliance for Extraterrestrial Diplomatic Contact with over 2.2 million supporters across 41 organizations, is based on an Optional Protocol to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961), which would grant special diplomatic status and extraterritoriality to the future embassy.
 
The project is solid and concrete:
• The necessary funds and resources are already available thanks to the extensive network of supporters.
• The ideal territory must have extraterritorial status, as is the case for any embassy.
• The agreement of at least three nations is required to have the Optional Protocol approved at the United Nations or through bilateral/multilateral agreements.
• We are on the right track: in 2025, the first Memorandum of Collaboration was signed with a nation.
 
In parallel, the Scientopolis project—the “city of free and independent science”—will complete the ecosystem by creating an advanced research hub (robotics, nanotechnology, AI, genetics, regenerative medicine, quantum and environmental sciences), open to future collaboration with extraterrestrial scientists and free from political, military, or economic interests.
