January 5th, through January 9, 2011 found the Las Vegas Clitoraid Team smack down in the middle of the action at the Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), Las Vegas which took place at the Sands Expo Center just off the strip. The Las Vegas Team was warmly received by the adult industry as it raised awareness of the barbaric practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) that is still taking place in some countries. The efforts of Clitoraid to restore the pleasure and dignity to the victims of FGM and stop this senseless practice were strongly applauded and financially supported to the tune of $2,116 by the adult industry and its wonderful fans.

New and of note this year was the introduction of the “Clit box”. Said a Clitoraid spokesperson “The idea is to replace the chocolates with a donation each time you have an orgasm”. This box of chocolates is a free gift with a donation to Clitoraid of $10 or more. The Clitoraid Team sold over 100 of these boxes at AEE this year.

The Las Vegas Team was also assisted by UNLV professor Larry Ashley and some of his graduate-students. Mr. Ashley has been working with Clitoraid for approximately two years, assisting in the mental therapy of women who undergo the re-constructive surgery.

For the 2012 Adult Entertainment Expo we look forward support from Sarena Marcus Productions who have signaled they will volunteer their talent for fund raising purposes in the Clitoraid booth.
