After Japan Prime Minister's plea to have local government authorities across Japan to accept tons of debris from Fukushima for disposal, Maitreya Rael, leader of the International Raelian Movement, commented saying that it is a “very stupid idea to spread radio active debris all over Japan”

After Japan Prime Minister's plea to have local government authorities across Japan to accept tons of debris from Fukushima for disposal, Maitreya Rael, leader of the International Raelian Movement, commented saying that it is a “very stupid idea to spread radio active debris all over Japan”

For the Japanese Raelians, the concern expressed by many residents that the tsunami-generated rubbish is radioactively contaminated is quite reasonable.
“It would be much better to bring all debris close to the Fukushima nuclear plant in a zone which will be inhabitable for a very very long time.” said Maitreya Rael.

While Prime Minister Noda calls on the spirit of the Japanese for helping one another in the aftermath of the disaster, Maitreya Rael said that spreading the contamination will have the opposite effect. Instead he proposes to actually “bury the Fukushima power plant under these millions of tons of debris and create an artificial mountain that would be like a memorial in remembrance to the dead people”.
